Multidimensional Feng Shui
Alan Hammond: Taoism emerged in China about 2,500 years ago. In this view of the world, the planet is a living organism with a flow of energy moving through its body, which is composed of all the forms therein. Paradise would be a state in which the energies moving through all the forms were in balance, and the planet would then be part of the Cosmic balance of energy.
The teaching of the Tao was to assist human beings learn how to move with the flow of chi-the Taoist term for energy, or Spirit. We know that all physical forms, from atoms to minerals, vegetation to animals-all radiate chi, energy, Spirit.
There is a subsidiary aspect to the Tao known as feng shui, which discusses the creative relationships between individual forms composing the body of the planet. Feng shui is a fertile subject for meditation, and can produce what are seemingly magical effects. There is a vast array of possible effects, and the resulting combination of unique patterns of radiation is obviously very useful for creative purposes. From our point of view, this is all part of the Divine Technology.
Today most literature on feng shui tends to refer to self-centered and petty purposes, where human beings are mainly concerned about the well being of their homes or businesses. Matters considered are such things as the position of doorways, the arrangement of furniture and mirrors, and so on. Hence, most of the deeper spiritual value in the subject is lost.
China is experiencing a rising prominence in the world, and we can look at their spiritual tradition and find some useful essences. Also today in our consideration, we seek to provide radiation into the Archangelic Body and consciousness, which may help clarify some of the central tenants of Taoism.
It is interesting how throughout history, nations (which are aspects of the body of mankind) have seasons of prominence in the world. Nations and empires rise and fall. The feng shui of nations when they rise in outer prominence also extends an energetic influence within the whole Archangelic Body. Simple current examples are the rise of China, and the receding influence of the Soviet Union and the United States of America. Back of these outer processes, there is a spiritual feng shui involved that we won't particularly explore today.
The core aspiration of the Tao is harmony with the Cosmos, which is moved by the universal chi. As far as human beings are concerned, the primary characteristics of chi to be embodied in living are: compassion, moderation, and humility. A key element of the Tao is balance. The world is currently out of balance. Its distorted energies are to be replaced, and the true balance restored.
We can see perhaps a hint of this when we view our recent world history. Communism, which was a human nature attempt to implement the Divine Truth of oneness, is being dissolved-as is capitalism, which is a perversion of the Divine principle of individual responsibility and contribution. It has been the presence of human nature that produced these distorted representations of the true chi. The Divine Truth of communism and capitalism is the holographic revelation of the True Identity of the individual "I Am" who contributes to the Identity of the Whole-the Cosmic "I Am."
Distorted chi emerging through human beings into the world's feng shui, affects both themselves and the rest of the planet. Overlays of distorted spirit, emotions, mind, and habits of behavior, all distort the pure chi or radiation emerging from the undimensional levels of Being.
The principles of feng shui are operational throughout the Cosmos. Every galaxy radiates a unique quality of chi. Each solar system does the same, and each planet is designed to contribute unique radiation into the One Design. For example, we can just allude to the feng shui effect of our Sun in its immediate neighborhood, and meditate on its prolific contribution to the life of the planet. We as individuals are part of this particular scene and system, and it is an obvious suggestion to let our unique radiation contribute to our neighborhood.
We can see that there are cyclical and rhythmic pulsations in the release of chi and feng shui through the repetition of the cycles of days, months, years, and this is how there is organic development of all forms.
Our own individual lives develop and unfold in this rhythmic way. As I mentioned before, human beings currently have a very self-centered attitude about the attempted uses of feng shui in their homes, in their businesses and relationships, whereas the principles of feng shui are designed to fulfill the purposes of the Whole. Our conscious attitude is: to be of service to the Whole. In this regard, the mind does not need to plot feng shui relationships in our lives because if we give expression to the Tone, the balanced Character of Being, the radiation of that chi ensures that we are utilized optimally in the Archangelic Body.
Every circumstance is a unique focus of radiation, of chi, and of feng shui in the Archangelic Body. It can be exciting to live and act in this awareness. We are often encouraged to live and act in the moment, and we appreciate what is intended here. But we might also slow down a little and seek to experience a quality and texture of the hour. If we do this, we may become more aware of some of the vibrational elements that the Angel that we are is releasing through vibrational action. Now in saying, "Experience the quality and texture of the hour," obviously one probably won't sit around for an hour, but the intent here is to slow down and become aware of the current of the flow of chi, rather than just dipping in for a thimbleful sample of a moment.
We might consider the feng shui of thoughts. Thoughts are "things" in the mental level of substance. The chi of thoughts has effect upon the quality of our interior landscape, which we could call "the house of our experience." We live in our consciousness, after all. This house of consciousness, and the quality of thought and chi present, can make it a palace or a hovel. As with the feng shui between physical forms, the arrangement of thoughts in our consciousness affects the radiation of the chi in our consciousness, and then into the larger home of our personal world. Prominent thoughts dominate consciousness. Rightly, we have a balanced consciousness and vision that allows a balanced radiation of chi to be present in our experience and worlds.
Those of us who assemble together as we are doing now, have a certain range of utilized thoughts. For example, you have perhaps carried the thought, "My identity is an aspect of Life and of the Whole." We may have other thoughts such as, "My true character is honorable, compassionate, creative." And another thought, "The focus of my living is the quality of my spiritual expression." Those are objects at the mental level, and of course there would be others, hopefully of as creative a nature. Such thoughts are not just "affirmations" of the mind. They originate in the action of Spirit, and that Spirit then moves through the forms of thought it has created.
Now each person must find their own way of dealing with destructive thoughts as they appear. We are, after all, part of the mass consciousness. We might remember not to fight destructive thoughts, trying to smash them with our little hammers-but rather, put such thoughts that I mentioned couple of minutes ago into places of prominence in our thinking.
I know through correspondence that some of those within the sound of my voice are living in very difficult and challenging circumstances. And in the midst of dealing with these experiences, doubts can arise about one's Divine Identity, because at times one just doesn't feel it. However, the very fact of the retention in consciousness of previously mentioned ideas relative to Identity, quality of Character, and intent of expression, reveals much. It means that the Spirit, the chi emerging emerging from You in the undimensional levels is strong enough to sustain orientation in awareness of Identity and service even though you may not feel harmony with those mental forms, with that vision. You and I know many people who abandoned their vision of Identity, Character and Purpose, because they lost the essential substance in which such forms can survive.
Feng shui operates in all levels of substance-spiritual, emotional, mental, physical-and we can be affected by the chi moving through any of these levels. People are perhaps prime factors in conveying chi into our lives. They stimulate unique experiences and activities in us by reason of their chi. I can think of three people prominent in my experience in this regard. I once knew a young lady, and whenever I was in her presence I could not help teasing her-a simple experience. I knew a very elderly lady who lived in one small room. The room was furnished with secondhand items, never very tidy, and perhaps not always as clean as one might hope for. Whenever I visited her, there was a quality of atmosphere in this room that shone. There was a gentleman I knew, a very intelligent, bright chap. Whenever I encountered him he only had to speak for about thirty seconds and I felt incredibly tired. I could hardly stay awake as I stood before him. There was nothing wrong in what he was saying, it was just the quality of his chi. I might say, that he didn't affect everyone like that!
We cannot usually describe with words the nature of another person's radiation. The combination of chi elements is so nuanced. We should not judge the radiation emerging through another person, and remember that they are part of the Archangelic context of feng shui in which we immediately find ourselves, and simply work as creatively as we may with it. When we view the people in our immediate worlds, let us look for the Divine chi that is present, and let us also remember that when we criticize another, there is little doubt that they could find problems with us too!
It's interesting to consider the great range of power in Divine radiation, and there are really some surprising elements. Usually when human beings think of power, they think of dominance through force, but there is great power through such things as beauty. It requires little elaboration to see the truth of this. Beauty can move us in the extreme. And then there is such power as vulnerability. In the human nature world, vulnerability is something to be taken advantage of very often. But in the Divine Design, vulnerability evokes the greatest enfoldment and loving care. Consider what happens when parents or adults are in the presence of a helpless baby!
Most of the people within the sound of my voice can rejoice greatly because they recognized and responded to the quality of the chi that came through Uranda and Martin Exeter. You can rejoice greatly in that experience because it reveals that you had/have the quality of substance necessary to appreciate the chi emerging through such leaders. All that is required of us is to express the same Tone and chi, and thus continue to emerge in the manifestation of our True Identity.
Most human beings dream of being great. They want to be great, but usually they want to do it without being great. Being truly great is to seek to express Divine Being in the midst of challenges. I said seek to express because sometimes the challenges are so great, the overlay so thick, that the manifestation of greatness is not visible to the human eye-but the Spirit of aspiration identified with is the revelation of greatness.
The focus of our expression of chi is at the spiritual expression level, and in this regard I'd like to quote some words of Jesus:
"Ye are the light of the world." (There's the chi.) "A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid." (Matthew 5:14)
A city is a place of dwelling, a place of consciousness. A hill is a high place-the level of spiritual expression. So here is a statement describing the core of feng shui as far as we're concerned: "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid." The effect of Tonal chi in the Archangelic Body and consciousness cannot be stopped, cannot be ignored, will have it's Divine effect.
How marvelous to let our chi shine forth, and be in position to play our parts in the Divine Design!
